Who wants to move to a new country?
You don't know what to expect. You don't know how you will be treated, or if you will fit in. There is very little that will be in your control. You will have to change your lifestyle and your routine to fit the environment. You will change the rhythm of your life to suit the pace of that land. This is what our elders had to consider when they packed their bags and moved to the UK. Much of what they had grown to expect was thrown out the window, to make room for new customs and traditions.
We want to share some of the trials, tribulations and triumphant stories from their early days in the UK...
These stories focus on home, school and their routines.
